GRANTS PASS IRRIGATION DISTRICT EMERGENCY / PERMANENT SIPHON IMPROVEMENTS – SAND CREEK CHANNEL RESTORATION
- Project Type: Emergency Public Irrigation System Improvements/Stream Restoration
- Location: Grants Pass, Oregon
- Project Size: 835’ of 60” Irrigation Siphon/600’ Stream Restoration/1,100’ Canal Restoration
- Completed: 2017
- Challenges: Emergency repair project due to significant flooding in December 2016/January 2017; in-water work inside of fish bearing stream limited construction schedules; due to environmental restrictions/permitting a temporary project was required ahead of the permanent project to ensure irrigation water for 7,500 acres of Grants Pass; split funding through National Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) made for complex coordination/permitting/approvals through various State/Federal Agencies including Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, Oregon Department of State Lands, Oregon Emergency Management, Oregon State Historic Preservation Office, Local Native American Tribes, FEMA Environmental Division, National Marine Fisheries, Army Corps. of Engineers, and Josephine County; separate Contractors for each project phase; coordination with multiple property owners to mitigate damages from the floods.

PHOENIX PLAZA/COMMUNITY CENTER
- Project Type: Public Community Center/Plaza
- Location: Phoenix, Oregon
- Project Size: 6,026 SF Community Center building, 0.6 acre site development
- Completed: July 2018
- Challenges: Active underground spring located in center of development required extensive dewatering system, steep slopes, ADA access restrictions, extremely poor soil conditions required helical anchor foundation for both the building and site walkways, design accommodations for multiple community events.

Wagner Creek Road Sidewalk Improvements – Talent
- Project Type: Public Roadway Improvements
- Location: Talent, Oregon
- Project Size: 230 feet
- Completed: 2017
- Challenges: Significant grade change between roadway and adjacent properties, across from Elementary School

JOHN STREET PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS
- Project Type: Public Roadway Improvements
- Location: Talent, Oregon
- Project Size: 430 feet
- Completed: 2018
- Challenges: Existing vegetation had damaged extensive sections of the roadway, tree removal conflicted with existing lighting system, grading revisions required to meet current ADA standards

Foundry Village
- Project Type: Transitory Housing and Social Services Facility
- Location: Grants Pass, Oregon
- Project Size: 17 Housing Units plus 2,000 SF Multi-Purpose Building, 0.24 acre site development
- Completed: 2021
- Challenges: Foundry Village is a safe, supportive, and beautifully-designed environment where participants can find the stability necessary to further their journey from homelessness into long-term housing and self-sufficiency. The 17 tiny homes reside in a gated and staffed community so that only residents, approved guests, and staff are admitted. Neighborhood concerns were high, the site is adjacent to the railroad, and required a deep public main be extended to the property.
